Since it's Halloween, I also offer my insights and expertise on how to handle Halloween candy with yourself and your children. Society has created such a stigma around what foods we should and shouldn't eat, and I help guide you to break that stigma so that you can have ultimate food freedom.
In today's society, it is so hard to determine what health really is. We're bombarded with certain images and think that we need to do certain things to fit the mold, but none of this is true. Listen in as Jamie helps uncover the real reason why you feel so anxious around food and why you're struggling to achieve a healthy balance when it comes to your body image, your weight, and your food.
It's almost impossible to keep up with what's healthy and what's not according to our culture. But only YOU can define what's healthy for you, and that takes trust. That takes courage to step outside of your comfort zone and tune into your body. You'll hear me share my own personal experience with finding my right balance in the hopes that it will help you find the right balance in your own life.
Get rid of food rules and restrictions. Normalize all foods in your daily lives. Eat what your body wants and craves. There's a reason you're craving a certain food. Trust your instincts, and don't be afraid to be a leader instead of a follower.
