Podcast | 015 - Your Body is Not Broken (Don't Give Up)
Dec 04, 2018
This is without a doubt the most important episode of Own Your Journey that I have ever done. The inspiration for this episode actually came from my mom, and she said that it just popped into her head, like a message from above. As soon as she told me her idea, I knew I had to make it happen.
This episode dives deep into my own journey to recovery. I share every last detail about all the steps I had to take, and all the crazy hoops I had to jump through to get to where I am today. It took two full years for my body and mind to recover. The body part is easy. It's the mindset part that is the hardest to grasp.
If there was only one episode that you ever listen to, I hope it will be this one. The content in this episode is so valuable for ANY person, not just those with body image disorders or lack of self-esteem. This information can help anyone to become the best version of themselves.
You just can't give up.
You have to know that you are worth the fight. Don't make the same mistakes I did. I did give up for a period of time. I had surrendered, until something told me to keep going. Something happened to me in August of this year, and the only way I can describe it is as Divine Intervention.
My entire world changed with one sentence. Find out what that sentence is, and be inspired to take control of your life and change your reality by refusing to give up. Don't settle for anything less than what you deserve. You. Are. So. Worth. It!!!!
